The Golden Key Project and Campaign

The Golden Key Project is a $14 million campaign for Shelter of Hope, Inc to mobilize the FIVCO community in ending unsheltered and chronic homelessness in the community. The project includes 3 phases culminating in a multi-access continuum of services, housing, shelter, and prevention efforts. The first phase is Street Outreach and Recovery, the second phase focusing on expanding emergency shelter space in FIVCO, and the third and final phase being the Golden Key Complex affordable housing units. 

Focus on recovery capital and stabilization, target 70 households experiencing unsheltered homelessness.  This project culminates in a Street Outreach and Recovery Lifeskills and Opportunity Center costing $825,000.00

Shelter of Hope, Inc has accepted the challenge to end unsheltered homelessness and a major part of this is expanding the shelter capacity in the community. Shelter of Hope, Inc seeks to develop a 40 unit affordable housing complex in FIVCO consisting of 10-1 br, 10-2br,10-3br, and 10-4 bedroom permanent supportive housing units. The project will include services offices, technology rooms, laundry facilities on-site, and access to education, life-skills, community patio, and peer support group rooms. Goal: $12.2 million
